Holte Manufacturing has designed and manufactured tools for water well drilling, foundation drilling, and plywood glue mixing for the past 48 years. We aren’t a production shop; we make quality tools in small batches and custom tools for big construction firms. We have paid vacation (sick time till 1 yr of employment), health, vision & dental, and a 401k or IRA contribution. If you have to relocate, talk to us and we’ll see how we can help. Bonuses are given based on performance, quarterly if things are going well, and can be up to 10% of what folks make in a year. We offer a somewhat flexible daytime schedule with 15 min breaks. Overtime is often available but rarely mandatory.
Drilling Manufacturing Jobs Opportunities:
- Seeking a Heat Treat Operator with 5+ years of experience carburizing and heat treating mild steel. Must be able to create recipes, program automated furnaces, operate manual/analog furnaces, understand quench and hardening requirements, measure hardness, perform moderate maintaince on gas lines, valves, sensors, plumbing, and electronics. Parts vary in size up to 7 tons; precision use of a high speed hoist is essential to the position. Position will report to Heat Treater with 20+ years experience. Must be able to lift and move around 50 lbs. Must be willing to occasionally quench parts on weekends. Reliability in attendance and consistency in performance are key qualities for obtaining this position.
- Seeking an experienced welder/fabricator. Must be able to read blueprints, lay out fabrication projects, shear, bend, press, and cut mild and stainless steel (variety of cutting methods). Windows and Microsoft Excel proficiency required. Must be knowledgeable of and skilled with MIG, Wire Feed, and Sub/Arc welding. Must be skilled with torch and plasma cutting. Must possess a strong mechanical proclivity since equipment assembly and disassembly and fabrication are a significant part of the job. Must be knowledgeable of and skilled with the use of a variety of measuring equipment, including Calipers and micrometers. Must possess the demonstrable skill to read, interpret and work from prints. Must provide your own hand tools. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
